Professional Hairstylist Workshops
In these Texture This! education workshops, hair stylists will learn to cut, style and colour all curl patterns, from wavy to coily while also getting sensitivity training on the emotional and cultural differences that come with curly hair.

Together with corporations, we build a curriculum that we turn into classes and workshops they can use under their umbrella to educate and specialize hairstylists when it comes to curly hair (cutting, styling, colouring, products, sensitivity training, etc.)

Many people with curly hair feel unseen, unheard, and misunderstood in the workplace. That’s because they often don’t get a seat at the table or easily get passed over for promotions.
Though we could debate whether that’s because their curly hair is perceived as unkept or unprofessional, you and I both know there are biases that determine whose voice matters the most to corporate.
As a curly hair expert and curly hair educator, I offer companies the tools they need to become more aware of their curly hair biases, so they can create a safer and more inclusive work environment for all employees.
